Summary
The i2b2 Wizard is a tool for installing and administrating an i2b2 server in a Linux environment. While i2b2 is easy to use, it is not so easy to install and maintain. There is an official installation guide made of 15 chapters, but the i2b2 Wizard tries to automate some of the steps for you. The whole feature set is described in the introduction.
First, you need to download all required files. In case you want to make a test installation, we advise you to create a virtual machine image.
Then you have to install the Linux operating system, exemplary shown for Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Desktop Edition (Ubuntu Linux Server Edition requires two additional steps).
