The binaries for the i2b2 import tool V 2.0 are available for various platforms:

Installation
After extracting all files to a arbitrary directory, simply start 'IOE' (make executable) or 'IOE.exe' respectively. You should see a similar windows to this one.
Configuration
First, you may want to add a 'staging server' to import data into. Click right in the staging server window and choose 'Add Staging I2B2Server'.
Enter all account information to access your i2b2 database server (to necessarily as 'system') and test connectivity.
If a connection could be created, all schemas are displayed if you expand the staging server.
