Admin page- User role IsAdmin field not saving the updated value

Acess the admin page.
Under Manage Users=>Update the ISAdmin field =>save
Expected result: UI should display the updated field
Actual Result: UI is reverting back to "No" value, even though in the backend, the role is updated
