Increase clarity of modifiers for leaf nodes

There are many use cases for which having modifiers for leaf nodes is desirable. However, I find the representation of these concepts confusing in the web client. A leaf node is displayed with the page icon if it has no modifiers, but it is displayed as a folder if it has a modifier. I was able to quickly confirm this behavior by loading our production i2b2 instance (1.7.09b) by toggling modifier support and refreshing the ontology pane.

Is it possible to display the page icon for a leaf node while still allowing the user to expand the term to reveal the modifiers?
