Synonyms with modifier folders do not open

If a folder or a leaf node is marked as a synonym in the metadata and has a modifier folder contained within it, showing the synonym in the web client and then attempting to expand it results in a database error message. If the folder or leaf node is not marked as a synonym, the expansion of the ontology occurs normally.

The JBoss logs record the following error:
