Description
We have a performance issue with our SQL Server DB with i2b2 1.705.
When more then 5 user logs on and runs queries concurrently, our DB resources are mostly being used. When this happens, we get database errors in our JBOSS logs and other errors such as:
org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: Read timed out
PreparedStatementCallback; uncategorized SQLException for SQL
org.springframework.jdbc.UncategorizedSQLException: PreparedStatementCallback; uncategorized SQLException for SQL
java.sql.SQLException: Interrupted attempting lock: org.jboss.jca.adapters.jdbc.local.LocalManagedConnection@3868c65e
edu.harvard.i2b2.common.exception.I2B2DAOException: Database error
We are using SQL Server 2008 R2 RTM without any Service Packs.
Would that be causing any performance issues? or is it the amount of data we have that's causing the issue? Over 200 Millions Records?
