Description
While trying to follow the article to enable AD authentication I discovered that using the Admin tool to update the Global Params does not work to enable AD Authentication.
After looking in the DB I noticed that there is now a Global_Params table and a Hive_Params table. If I manually enter the parameters into the Hive_Params table, AD Authentication will work. It appears there is some disconnect between the documentation and/or the UI and database. There appears to be no way to manage data in the Hive_Params table via the UI; however, at least the authentication portion of the PM cell looks at that table for configuration.
