The i2b2 Webclient has five main components, and they are laid out in the following manner.

1. Query Tool:

   The Query Tool component enables you to specify the characteristics of patients you are looking for. These characteristics can be any terms defined in an ontology such as diagnoses, medications, or demographics. Past queries or query results are also accepted

2. Query Status

   The Query Status component shows you if a query is currently running, or results if the last query had returned results.
