Mission Statement 

The immediate goals of the Ontology working group is to provide a place for tutorials and tools to assist with ontology creation and development. In the long run the goals of the Ontology Working Group are to include the development, dissemination and maintenance of current and historically complete ontology and terminology standards metadata in support of the cost effective, comprehensive and interoperable deployment of tranSMART and i2b2 software tools.
