The files you extracted in the previous chapter contain an executable application file for the i2b2 Workbench. Since the application is already built and ready to be used there is not much that needs to be done in the way of configuration. There are two exceptions:

1. Define the location of the hive in your environment. |

2. Define the physical memory for the workbench (Windows only). |
