Description |
The Plugin viewer for Demographics within the Analysis Tools displays a demographics report in the "View Results" tab for 1 or 2 patient set(s).
The report shows the distribution of patients for different demographics categories: age, sex, race, language, religion and vital status of patients. The improvement suggested is that the demographic codes displayed in this report (M, F, white, etc.) are replaced with their actual description (Male, Female, White, etc.) The demographics values currently displayed in the report are precisely the codes used in the patient_dimension table's demographic columns. If one were to populate the language_cd column within patient_dimension with ISO codes for language, for instance, the demographics report will be difficult to read (would require a legend). |

Same applies to race and religion. See attached screenshots of the report. |

I would like to change this issue into a Defect, please. |

Mike, we think that this is a defect because the code lookup tables are not being used for the demographic values. Is this fix planned for a future fixpack or release yet? Thanks, Brant |
