The basecode field was not being initialized properly and therefore displaying as null. This issue was introduced in the ValueMetadata <Val description=""> fix.

Tested and appears to be working correctly.
Description
When editing a term in the Edit Terms view, the base code entered on the term doesn't appear on the first page of the Edit Term Wizard.
